Zachery and Kristin

We're looking to adopt a baby

Hi, we are Zachery and Kristin! We are so excited that you are taking the time to look at our story and getting to know us. We first met while working together at a local store. Zach worked in the garden center and Kristin worked in customer service. It took some convincing for her to say yes to a first date, but as Kristin will tell you, she is so happy she decided to go! Zachery, on the other hand, knew Kristin was the one right away. After one week of hanging out with her, Zach told his mother that Kristin was the girl he would marry. And that’s exactly what happened! In June of 2013, after almost three years together, we were married!

Even before we married, we knew that building a family together would be part of our future. Though we also suspected there would be struggles. After overcoming childhood cancer, doctors let Kristin know it could be hard or impossible for her to conceive. Despite years of trying naturally, with medication, going through artificial insemination, and IVF, we knew it wasn’t in our future to have a child biologically. Infertility was the hardest thing we’ve overcome but we were able to make it through and come out stronger than before. Our struggles weren’t going to stop us from building the family we always dreamed about and we were blessed to adopt our beautiful daughter in January 2020. With love in our hearts, we are ecstatic to grow our family in love and number through adoption once again.
